After the catastrophe of the collapse of the Rana Plaza, a building of textile workshops in Bangladesh, on April 24th of 2013, where 1,135 workers lost their lives and 2,500 were injured, the international movement Fashion Revolutionwas born. Founded by Carry Sommers, this movement claims for “a peaceful revolution that demands this industry, which enslaves workers and consumes the resources that our children and grandchildren will need, a ‘clean industry ‘in its broadest sense.’
Every year, from April 23rd to 29th, we are revolutionized to ask for a more ethical and fairer textile industry in which we know who is behind the clothes we wear and what their work situation is. Knowing and being informed gives us the power to decide if we want to be part of that system or not.
In this #FashionRevolution we want to introduce you to some of the people who make possible, in a fair, ethical and sustainable way, the clothes we wear.
Manager of the farmers families in Brasil since 2013.

It is a great privilege to have all these people on our team.
Without them, this #OCCRevolution would not be possible.
