These are the people who work in the fields, and this is where our most important decisions are taken and where it starts our highest commitment and the base of the whole project: OCCGuarantee

More than 150 farmers and their families in Brazil are just as much a part of this project as we are, guaranteeing the purity of our cotton right from the seed.

We are able to implement our own growing project in Brazil thanks to all the farmers and families with whom we work as a team. No intermediaries and no exploitation. Our number one priority is not only the health of the people who wear our cotton but also that of the people who grow it and the land on which it grows.

Their work follows biodynamic organic farming systems, in complete harmony with the environment, using only animal traction and no artificial irrigation methods. Cotton growing is alternated with other crops for their own use such as millet, beans, peanuts, sesame, palm, castor oil, cucumbers, etc. This means that the whole family can subsist from their crops and make profits from the cotton.

We generate a real social impact

On our part, we offer them the assurance of future stability by bringing them into our project. We guarantee the involvement of all the farmers, buying everything the families are capable of producing every year. All of them have the assurance that they will continue to work with us in the future.

All the farmers are the owners of the land on which they work. Nobody knows it better than they do. That’s why they love it and make sure they treat it properly. On these lands they combine organic cotton cultivation with growing produce for their own use, thus avoiding the exploitation and desertification so typical of conventional industry.

Thanks to these people, we are able to control the entire production process, from the seed through to final distribution, obtaining organic cotton that is completely natural, sustainable and environmentally-friendly.

We’re a family

Our concept is completely different from that of other brands: we have established ourselves in Brazil alongside these families and our intention is always to work with the same farmers, increasing the number of families involved year on year.

We want to give them stability and make sure they feel part of the project, and at the same time prevent the price inflation so typical of the conventional cotton industry, which many other companies take advantage of to raise or drop prices at will which directly affects the remuneration paid to growers.
